Dominique stands in front of a mirror and twists to see herself from all angles. She sighs, compared to her sister she is plain...plain, plain, plain. Her hair isn't straight and shiny nor does it fall in big curls. It's wavy and just like every other girls hair. She hates her hair. Her body isn't as shapely as Victoire's or as lithe and athletic as Roxanne's or even as delicate as Lucy's or sturdy like Molly's body is. Her body is...plain, an ok sized chest, nothing to special...well her boyfriend would say different and mention the little tattoo she has. Her butt is ok, again nothing special. She's only slim, only plain.
She stops twisting and leans close to examine her face. She has a good complexion although she doesn't seem to have the same glow Victoire does...Her mouth fits with the rest of her face although she wouldn't mind if her lips were a bit fuller like Roxanne's are. Her eyes are the same as her father's and her uncles and her aunt Ginny's and nearly all of her cousins. Her eyes are completely plain. Her nose is the one feature she dislikes completely. It's small and up turned and looks like something that belongs in a muggle drawing of an imp or something like that. She hates it, she doesn't think it makes her look mature and sophisticated. She really hates it.
"Hey Dom, what are you doing?" Her boyfriend asks raising an eyebrow as he walks into her room.
"Nothing," she says with a shake of her head although it's clear she's unhappy.
"C'mere Dom," Ro says patting the spot beside him on the bed. Dominique sighs and goes to sit down beside him. "What's wrong love?"
"Nothing," Dominique repeats and leans her head on his shoulder.
"Really because it looked like you were at it again," Ro says referring to the fact that every few weeks Dom would be in front of the mirror twisting and turning and hating herself for not looking the way she wanted.
Dom shrugs, "well just look at me. I'm plain!"
Ro shakes his head and kisses her softly. "You're the opposite of that Dom, you're fantastic and beautiful and fantastically beautiful. And you know what I love most about the way you look?"
"No, what?"
"I love your cute little..." he pauses for effect and grins at her. She rolls her eyes thinking he's going to talk about either her boobs or her butt because well, isn't that what boys like to look at? "Nose, I love your cute little nose," he finishes and promptly kisses her up-turned nose. She laughs and wrinkles her nose as he continues to kiss it lightly.
