Disclaimer: I do not own anything that has to do with MCL, but I do own the plot.

This is a oneshot that I did for ChromeHearts, with your two favorite characters...I sure hope you like it! :3 _

I sit in a coffee shop alone, listening to Chemical Brothers through my green headphones, my fingers spinning the coffee mug around in time with the music. My violet eyes flit from person to person outside, wanting to find someone interesting to watch; instead, all I see are normal people. Normal people everywhere, why couldn't there be one, single, weird person in this town? My brother and I had just moved to the little French town of Sweet Amoris a few weeks ago, and the school year is about to begin; and yet, there is nobody interesting around here. As I sigh in annoyance, I see somebody slide into the booth seat across from me, and I look up to see a very odd-looking boy; his clothing is old, like, really old, and his hair is silver, the tips dyed black. Out of anything I noticed about him, however, it would have to be his eyes; the left was the green of a deep Canadian forest, and the right the color of the bright Hawaiian sand of their Golden Sand Beach. He looks at me, confused, and I offer him a smile, lifting my coffee up to my lips and taking a sip; I nearly choke when he speaks, his voice so soft and melodic, yet resonant and deep that I feel butterflies flutter in my stomach.

"Have you seen a notebook, forgot it here a little while ago..." I look to my left and pick up a small leather-bound black book and hold it out to him.

"Would this be it?" The boy smiles, and my breath is taken away from me. He is, truly, the most beautiful creature on this earth! Reaching out, the boy takes the book and holds it close, his mismatched eyes shimmering.

"Thank you so much..." His smile seems to disappear, "You didn't read it, did you?" I smirk and shake my head, and the smile is back again. By God, this boy is so handsome he's going to kill me if he keeps going on like this, smiling and all that! We sat and chatted for a while, and I had learned the boy's name; Lysander. Lysander...I tasted it on my tongue every chance I could, the name nearly...suggestive in itself. This boy truly is an enigma, I would love to get to know him more! Brushing my short blue hair out of my face, I shrug and stand up, excusing myself with a sigh.

"It was amazing to talk to you, Lysander," There I go again. Lysander. How scrumtious, "But I have to go now, I'm supposed to go have dinner with my family at a restaurant a few blocks over." Lysander smiles and says his goodbye, and I turn around, about to head out of the restaurant, when I feel cold fingers wrap around my wrist. Turning and looking at Lysander, he smiles and holds out a piece of paper.

"It was nice speaking with you, as well." He lets go of my wrist as i take the paper, and I swear to God I saw a wink as I turned and left. Looking down at the paper is a clean, elegant script with a number and the words 'call me' underneath; I spin around to look into the restaurant windows, only to see that he has already left. Tucking the paper into my pocket, the number already memorized, I begin the walk home. I will find this Lysander, this mysterious boy...and he will be mine.
