White Horse

"'Mione?" He said her name, as sweet as he always did. She didn't answer, she just looked out to the Black Lake. "I'm sorry, 'Mione, please."

Say you're sorry, that face of an angel
Comes out just when you need it to
As I paced back and forth all this time
'Cause I honestly believed in you

Everyone warned Hermione about him. He was a player, he shouldn't be trusted. But she ignored it all. She thought he was telling the truth when he said they'd be together forever. She should have seen right through him. Everyone else did. She was blinded by love.

"Hermione, please." He begged from behind her. "Talk to me."

Holding on, the days drag on
Stupid girl, I should have known
I should have known

"You lied to me, Draco." She whispered.

"No, I didn't!" He pleaded. "It wasn't what it looked like, 'Mione, I promise."

I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairy tale
I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet
Lead her up the stairwell

"You lied and cheated." Hermione spat.

"'Mione, no!" Draco took a step forward.

Hermione spun round, tears escaping her eyes. "Don't call me that, Malfoy!" She pushed him back. "You cheated on me with Pansy Parkinson!"

Draco clenched his jaw. "I didn't-"

"You didn't what?" Hermione interrupted. "Didn't mean it? Oh please."

This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town
I was a dreamer before you went and let me down
Now it's too late for you and your white horse, to come around

"I dreamt of us, Malfoy." Hermione sobbed. "Us, together. But... It was all a lie."

"Hermione. I promise you, our relationship was never a lie!" He shouted. "Not to me!"

Baby I was naive, got lost in your eyes
And never really had a chance
My mistake, I didn't know to be in love
You had to fight to have the upper hand
I had so many dreams about you and me
Happy endings, now I know

His eyes sparkled in the moonlight. Tears were running down his cheeks. He dropped to his knees and looked at Hermione. "I'm sorry."

"No you're not." Hermione stated. "You're not sorry."

I'm not a princess, this ain't a fairy tale
I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet
Lead her up the stairwell

"Hermione!" He shouted. "Please. You really don't know how much you mean to me. What you saw, that was nothing. I promise, I'll never let it happen again. I never loved her, I loved you and I still do." Hermione walked over to where he knelt. He pulled her to him and he cried into her stomach.

This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town
I was a dreamer before you went and let me down
Now it's too late for you and your white horse, to come around

And there you are on your knees
Begging for forgiveness, begging for me
Just like I always wanted but I'm so sorry

"I'm sorry." Draco repeated over and over. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

"I'm sorry." Hermione whispered. She knelt in front of her boyfriend, the love of her life. She kissed his cheek.

Cause I'm not your princess, this ain't a fairytale
I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well
This is a big world, that was a small town
There in my rearview mirror disappearing now

"All I want is you." Draco said. "Do you love me?"

"Yes." Hermione replied.

"Will you give me another chance?" He asked, begging with his eyes for her to take him back.

And its too late for you and your white horse
Now its too late for you and your white horse, to catch me now

She looked into his eyes. "No." She stood and walked away from Draco for the last time.
