Beck saw Cat. She was really upset. She looked like she had a bad day.
"Hey kitty Cat," he said
"Kitty Cat," she sniffled
"It's my nickname for you," he said
"It was a really bad day. Nicole was making fun of me and she said my brother was in hell because he killed himself," she sobbed out, "so I told her to shut up and she wouldn't shut up so I punched her in the jaw"
Beck laughed
"Good for you kid," he said
"Wait," she looked up at him, "You're not gonna get mad?"
"At you? Kitty Cat I couldn't get mad at you if I wanted to. I love you too much."
"You got mad at Jade and you love her," Cat said
"Yeah that's true," Beck replied, "and I would NEVER repeat that mistake again. She retaliated and I ended up with blue hair"
Cat laughed
"But what else happened," he asked
"I can't go on the trip to NYC," she sniffled
"Why not?"
"Cause… I'm still a loser. Plus I couldn't afford it even if I could go"
Beck rolled his eyes.
"FIRST of all YOU are NOT a loser. Secondly You're going on the trip. I will pay for it for you but you're going on that trip. I am not going without my best friend. Do we have an understanding?
"Do you know something?"
"What?"
"I love you Beckadee"
"Beckadee?"
"Hey if you can call me Kitty Cat then I can call you beckadee"
"How about Becko"
"Okay. I love you Becko"
