Really?
(I own nothing, just the non-canon characters)
(A/N: I know there are probable mistakes but I don't have a review or whatever, and I don't want to share this with my other Star Wars fans friends. Any hope you enjoy ;] )
"Dame it!" Rex cursed under his breath as, again, Glycerine took his playing piece off the RaRa board.
"Oh come on, Rex, it's not that hard."
"Coming from someone who's played the slagging game a million times." He retorted back at her.
"It just takes time and practice." She moved her game piece where Rex's was.
It had been six months since Glycerine took Rex under her wing and began training him to fight and think like an Ementian. Fighting came to him easily; it was the mind games and tricks he couldn't master.
Why did I even ask her to teach me these things? Rex thought to himself. He looked at her hand as it picked up another piece. Her fingers were long and elegant. His eyes traveled up her long arm. It looked more like a thin tree branch, but he knew under that skin was extraordinary strength. Traveling to her waist it was long as well and her muscles were toned and fierce looking. It was all due to years of training and fighting. Then came her legs lean and finally toned. He didn't even want to know what power was healed in those appendages.
"Go."
"What?" the voice snapped him back to reality.
"Go, it's your turn." Glycerine informed
Rex moved his piece and replayed the sound of her voice. That was another factor, not just her looks but her voice.
Plus he loved her personality. The way she commanded her team mates with all seriousness, but the next moment she was a playful as a young child. He didn't know all her history, but he knew enough to know that she had a very rough life. Even for some one so young: she could look at him or any other of him brothers that were down on there luck, and have all the wisdom in her eyes that only a very old grandparent would have.
Now I remember. I wanted to understand her and to learn more about her. Deep down he knew he had a crush on her. And so did Cody who teased him about it day in and day out. But it wasn't like Rex didn't catch those long glances that Cody shot at Maggie when she wasn't looking.
"I win… again." Glycerine said, placing her game piece on the board.
"What! Wha-wher- FUCK!"
