Unhinged
His head was pounding. There was blood, blood in it. All he could hear, see, everything…everything was red. Crimson, scarlet, every shade imaginable. Blood on his hands, his clothes, his skin. Drenching him, and smothering him too. He couldn't breathe. He wasn't himself.
But was he ever himself? Brutal, laughing at others pain, reveling in their screams, music to his ears. The Cheshire cat grin spread across his face, accompanied by a bout of wild laughter.
Nothing, yet everything. Hatred, love, it was all the same. Friends? What were they? Even his sister, his poor, poor little sister. He had to save her. He promised, promised he would never mistreat her, his precious little sister. Couldn't she see it was for her own good?
Just like the rest of them. Mitsuki, Tohko…Kurosaki. Oh, the thought of them just made him shake! Not badly, no, never. Lustfully. Their screams…music, music to his beautiful ears.
He could feel something snap inside him as he pulled out the knife. But what was it anyway? He didn't know. Maybe that ever frustrating pest of conscience had decided to slip away for good. A chuckle slipped from his bloodied lips. Thank God.
She was screaming, screaming for her big brother. Why? He was right here, wasn't he?
"Don't hide, Yuka!" He called out cheerfully. The door to the first floor swung open with a bang, and his feet ran, broken soles pounding against the ground. "Come out, come out wherever you are!"
He could hear her, practically hear her trembling. Oh, it was so beautiful. It made his blood cry, cry in excitement.
"Be a good girl, Yuka…" He shouted.
He wanted to hear the screams, wanted to hear that magnificent sound of her body hitting the floor, taste her blood in his mouth, smell the fear on those who came here with her. He was the predator. He was unstoppable-
A clang sounded in his ears, and he fell to the floor, head spinning, ears ringing. Her laughter drowned out his own, and he yelled.
"AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Kizami's head snapped downwards.
He barely managed to formulate another word- but one slipped past his lips as he took a final breath of air.
Insane.
I'm sorry if it turned out awfully...but I've been wanting to write for this fandom forever, so...here it is.
