Grantaire woke up and rolled over, quickly realizing that there was no one beside him. He stumbled out of bed, throwing on a paint splattered hoody. Grantaire swiftly went to search for his boyfriend; it didn't take him too long to find him. Enjolras was sitting at the table in the same clothes he had been wearing the day before, his golden curls were lying on the table amidst a mess of papers. He should have made sure that Enjolras went to bed. He would probably have a very stiff back when he woke up. Quietly as he could, Grantaire went about making coffee, knowing that Enjolras wouldn't be pleasant to talk to until he had at least one cup.
Grantaire gently attempted to wake his sleeping boyfriend.
"Enjy, come on. You have to wake up. Enjy." Grantaire said in his softest voice, lightly shaking his boyfriend. He ran his hand through Enjolras's hair, hoping that his gentleness would wake the angel from its slumber. Did he really just think that? He must have been reading too much of Jehan's poetry. Returning from his thoughts, Grantaire again attempted to wake his Sleeping Beauty.
"Come on, Apollo." Grantaire whispered into his boyfriend's ear, pressing kisses along his hairline. Grantaire pulled away, and Enjolras began to stir.
"Come back." Enjolras said his voice hoarse from sleep. Grantaire leaned into the other man, black and blond curls coming together as one. The two stayed like that together, enjoying the closeness of it all.
"You know, last night probably would have been a better time to do this." Grantaire mumbled, hoping not to upset his boyfriend.
"I know, I just had important things to do for work." Enjolras replied sheepishly. "I had the intention of going to bed, but I guess I fell asleep…"
"That reminds me, we should probably get moving or else we're going to have an overexcited Courfreyac and Jehan bouncing around the apartment before we've had coffee." Grantaire grinned.
"We best get moving then." Enjolras agreed, returning the grin.
