Captain America and Sharon Carter, along with some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are on route to kidnap the Winter Soldier for all of the assassinations he has committed. They can bring him in alive or dead. They are currently in an abandoned warehouse. "Sharon" says Captain America. "You have to promise me not to harm Bucky until I talk to him." "Understood Captain, but after your little reunion, if I see that Bucky is still insane, I will take action." Captain America and Sharon walk up some stairs and in front of a door. Captain America knocks on the door. "Bucky, are you in there?" Captain America doesn't hear anything so he asks again. "Bucky?" After not hearing any response, Captain America opens the door, and signals Sharon and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to stand by the door. Captain America then walks in the room and is attacked immediately by the Winter Soldier. The Winter Soldier attempts to punch Captain America, but it is blocked by his shield. A fight ensues with the two seeming equally matched, but eventually, the Winter Soldier gets Captain America into a chokehold. "Bucky, please remember me" says Captain America. Nothing happens. "Come on Bucky, don't you remember me, Steve… Steve Rogers. We were best buds." Still, nothing happens. Just as the Winter Soldier is about to snap Captain America's neck, Sharon Carter shoots Bucky in the head. Captain America is stunned. "I'm sorry Steve, but I had to-" "No you didn't" Captain America snaps. "You government scum, you just wanted to kill him because you thought he was a threat to your long term plans for the world." "Steve, what are you talking about?" says Sharon. "That's not true-" "Save it" says Captain America. "I quit." Captain America then leaves the warehouse. A few months later, Sharon Carter, Tony Stark, the Falcon, and Black Widow are being briefed by Nick Fury for their next mission. "Your mission is to capture Steve Roger a.k.a. The Nomad. He is responsible for the murder of government officials and multiple attempts on the president's life." "Understood" says Sharon Carter. She then turns to her team and says "Well this should be fun."
