Ok, this may not be my first fanfic, but it is my fist Degrassi fanfic. If you love it… tell me. If you hate it… tell me. I won't be hurt, I'll be grateful and determined to fix my mistake. Clare
Clare walked into her room and dropped her suitcase. Today was her first day back from a drama free vacation at her grandmother's. it was disgusting seeing her parents make googly eyes at each other. They finally worked out their differences. And she was happy for them, but… She turned on her radio and collapsed on her bed. Sighing, she logged into her laptop and checked her email. No messages. At least, not from him. Letting out another sigh, she clicks on media and selects Romeo and Juliet 3rd Period English.
Better be soon.
"That was Shark in the Water by VV Brown. Next is a fan favorite. This is 95.3 KCFM.
Picture perfect memories
Scattered all around the floor
"Romeo! You drank the high fructose poison," Clare heard herself say. A tear slid down her cheek as the camera had zoomed in on their kissing scene.
Reaching for the phone cause
I can't fight it anymore
Clare grabbed her phone and began to text.
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind

Closing her cell, she grabs her coat and purse, and runs out the front door.

Eli was sitting on his floor. He managed to get into his parents alcohol cabinet that was saved for special occasions. He had his Ipod on "Clare's Playlist". Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" was playing. He couldn't stop playing Vegas Night's scene in his head. Clare stating that she wasn't sure if she could be with him anymore broke his heart. He felt lost. Lonely. Incomplete.
Another shot of whiskey
Can't stop looking at the door.
He felt his phone vibrate. Thinking it was another call from Adam, Eli was prepared to yell his head off at his best friend. One new message from Clare Edwards, his screen read.

He flips his phone open and reads it. When he finally finishes reading it, he grabbed his keys and took off in Morty.

I can't continue avoiding this. I like you too much to be with you and go through that again. But I love you even more to not be with you. Meet me at the park table where we shared our first kiss in 10 min. – Clare.

Clare ran as fast as she could to the park table, finally reaching her destination. He wasn't there yet.

Eli jumped out of Morty, ran towards the table, and saw Clare. He walked up to her and smiled. She smiled back.

"Clare_" Eli started. But before he could say anything else, Clare jumped into his arms and kissed him.
"I need you," she confessed.
Eli hugged her in a way where he never wanted to let her go. "I need you too, Edwards."
