AN: Thanks so much to: IHateBlacks (I can't say that I agree with you about that. Before you reviewed, did you ever stop to think that maybe I was a black person? I could be, you wouldn't know. I'm not, but that's just what I'm saying: it doesn't matter what the color of my skin is. You should treat me just as you would treat anybody else. And just for the record, there are many many violent white people, too. Not all black people have violence in their nature. I don't know if I'm right, but violence is genetic. If your father is violent or has an uncontrollable temper, you have a good chance of inheriting those traits, too. But so is the color of your skin. Just because your father is black does mean that you are probably going to turn out dark too, but it doesn't mean that you're going to turn out violent. Unless, of course, your father is violent lol... I'm getting myself confused) Crystal (dang, catching up on all teh stuff I've written? You realize you wrote like fifteen reviews? Lol thanks you're my superwoman. And publish! Ha. Hahahahha. "For two thousand dollars--that's a deal!-- you can publish your book with distribution and promotions..." Right. Two thou. Wish me good luck) Twilights Pastel Reflections (Did I mention that I love your screenname? I wish I were more creative like that. I just used my lastest book's name... Anyway, yeah my inspiration for those are from DC Talk. Who else? Lol. Taht's a really good point. "Just a Color". Hmm... That might be teh title of my next poem. Thanks! I give you all teh credit... Well the whole guilt trip thing, it wasn't really what I was giong for lol. It was kind of a lament, man we should have more appreciation for Him, you know? I'll check out those poems as soon as I'm done here.) Gi Xian (Thanks! I always feel good when someone takes teh time to review) Katana Blade (Thank you! Um, you're saying thank you to me, when you're the one reviewing? Well, I appreciate the courtesy really, but I should be teh one saying thank you!)
I Believe
I believe in the Lord
Despite what you say
Our minds are all jumbled
By the nonsense these days
On an earth where beauty
Overthrows personality
Where beliefs are a way
To escape reality
Where you're judged
By how you appear
The real day of judgment
Is dang'rously near
On that day it won't matter
What you appear to be
Before a God who knows all
Who in your heart can see
I believe in a God
Who sees inside me
No outer shell here
He has set me free
