Neji Hyuga has always held his feelings inside.(especially when he's around Tenten).
One day, he told her his true feelings.
Very 'romantic'.
Flashback:"Neji!" The stonic Hyuga boy turned around."Hn." The classic answer."We have training at 4:30." Tenten blushed lightly when the Hyuga slipped his arms around her waist."The other day, when you agreed to go out with that bastard Lee, I was pissed." She tensed."I'm sorry, Neji." Neji frowned slightly."I wanted to rip that bastards throat out." "Neji-" "I'm not done yet. I was... jealous." Tenten was slightly confused."Neji, you were jealous?" He gave a slight nod."Why were you jealous?" Tenten blushed a dark, dark red when the Hyuga placed his lips upon her neck."I love you, Tenten." He pulled away."I've always loved you." "Then why haven't you ever made a move?" "I couldn't bring myself to. But I wanted to, believe me I wanted to." She smiled."So you love me?" "Yes." "I love you too." Neji placed his lips on her neck again, then pulled away."Tenten-" She interuppted,"Kiss me, Hyuga." He smirked and pressed his lips to hers...End of flashback!
"Neji, wait up!" The weapons mistress and the stoic Hyuga boy had been dating for a little over a month. "You'll have to get faster if you want to catch up with me." Tenten caught up. "I know what'll slow you down." Neji smirked,already knowing."What's that?" She put her hands on the back of his neck, pulling his face closer to hers, and kissed him. He put his hands on her hips. She pulled away."That''.
Two years later:"Lee, I can't do this." Neji was planning to ask Tenten to marry him."Do not worry, Neji. If she loves you as much as you love her then, well, she will say 'yes'!" Lee struck the 'Good guy pose'."I am sure of it!" Neji just nodded and walked away. At Tenten's house: "What is it, Neji?" Tenten was her normal, cheery, self. The Hyuga scratched his head, then got down on one knee. Tenten smiled, knowing what was coming next."Tenten, I wish I could've been born into the main branch, so if we ever were married, our children wouldn't have a curse mark. But, even though it's a burden, will you marry me?" Silence. Tenten smiled, crying tears of happiness."Let this be my answer, kiss me, Hyuga." He took it as a yes and kissed her. She pulled away."I love you, Neji." He smiled."I love you too. And I took that as a yes."
"It was." They shared a kiss. Both of their lives began that one day two years ago when Tenten said those words,"Kiss me, Hyuga.
