Kagome...Kagome...
It all started after World War II.
Chapter 1 - 怖い人 (The Scary Men)
Young Kia Okami, (起亜大神) was playing Fukuwarai with her friends in the Orphanage. It was a sunny day in Hiroshima, Japan. The Caretakers and Children were happy as usual., until one moment. The scary men in green suits, heavy black boots, and weird symbol patches kicked down the doors. They were also Bright-eyed and Bright-haired. The children were cowering in fear, but the caretakers were speaking their language. The men had many bags, and were for some reason unknown to Kia, were called the Nazis. They had weird tools, some ending with sharp points and others with little drills or spikes. The Nazis were grabbing random kids, and performing experiments. Kia knew this boy. He was about ten years old, had hair black as night, with brown eyes. Kia believed his name was Kei Kagami. (圭かがみ) The Nazis were testing immortality, Kia was told this by a orphan who over heard the conversation. Kia began to think of ways to stop this. It had to be done, no matter what. Then she though of the perfect solution.
Rebellion.
Chapter 2 - 邪悪な実験 (The Wicked experiments)
For weeks and days forwards, Kia kept trying to get the strength to rebel. She felt weird about what the Nazis were doing. The experiments were disturbing, and the men did it in different ways. Once through the forehead of Kei, one lacked a jaw. Then more strange men came. They were Russian, and the Nazis and Russians were discussing about a replacement arm.. somethings Kia didn't catch. The next day, the Nazis observed the children.
Chapter 3 - 孤児院では、ゆがんでかごめかごめを行って (Orphanage gone awry, Kagome Kagome)
Kia started noticing something. Her friends, pretty much family, seemed well, a wee bit off. Kia noticed that one girl had one arm, and would stare blankly at everyone. Kei would seem stupid, or retarded in some cases. All Kia knew was that everyone had gone Awry. The Nazi's 'Universal Killswitch' theory hadn't worked. The next day, she woke up to the Orphanage playing "Kagome, Kagome" again. They had been playing this a lot. "Kagome..Kagome...kago no naka no tori wa Itsu itsu deyaru? Yoake no ban ni Tsuru to kame ga subetta. Ushiro no shoumen daare?" The other orphans and caretakers would chant. Kia would join in occasionally, but not very often. It is time to make my move, she told herself.
Kia was ready for rebellion.
Chapter 4 - 起亜の反乱 (Kia's Rebellion)
Kia stormed to the area where the Scientists were staying. She had a box of matches, her bare hands, and anything else she could find to deystroy the Nazis plan to continue with the expirements. Kia had enough of it. She picked up countless sketches, burning them to crisp, gray ashes. Kia tore papers, stomped on them, and got rid of them. After she felt she'd done enough, she crept out of the room.
Chapter 5 - 反逆成功!またはそれがでしたか? (Rebellion Success! Or was it?)
Kia was sitting on the ground, during a session of Kagome, Kagome. But then the Caretakers called her over. "Kia, these men say they need you for something." the Caretaker said. "Okay" Kia replied, following the soldiers outside. The soldiers began to circle around Kia. "So, whats up?" she asked. "So, you thought you could get away with your little act?" A soldier told Kia.
"What act?" she asked, knowing she probably knew already.
"Your little act of rebellion. I Don't know if you thought it was going to be cute, or whatever, but it's not acceptable." Another soldier said, as they got even closer, bayonets in their hands.
Before Kia could reply, the soldiers tackled Kia, two or three pining her to the ground, where she was unable to move. Even before she could call for help, she was beheaded by multiple bayonets, all blunt. Kia's blood pooled around her headless body, which was left behind the Orphanage in the woods, unburied. Kia was now dead, and the Caretakers were told she found a new family.
The end.
