So, this is not another installment of "We Are Not Forgotten" for those of you who are looking for more. I've written eight chapters over the past week, and I'll get more for you later. This was just a little Oneshot that I wanted to write. I've never written one before, so it's going to be somewhat interesting for me to leave the story at this.
Obviously, the plotline is mine, but I do not own Degrassi or any characters used in this oneshot.
Daddy Uncle
"Emma, sweetie. Can I talk with you for a minute?"
Emma nodded. "Sure, what is it mom?"
Christine Nelson, otherwise known as 'Spike' sat down on the couch next to her daughter. I have to talk to you about something. It's about Sean.
"Sean?" Emma's eyes widened as she fingered the ring on her finger. "Is everything alright?"
"Sean's fine, Em. It's just," Spike paused. "You know that Sean is only a few months older than you, right?"
Emma nodded. "What's that got to do with anything?"
"When I was pregnant with you, I was pregnant with twins. I went into premature labor months before you were born, and gave birth to a son, your older brother. Fortunately, they were able to keep you inside. If they hadn't, well, you probably wouldn't have made it."
"What's this got to do with Sean though?"
"I decided to give your brother up for adoption. I couldn't take care of him, and I was planning on doing the same with both of you," Spike sighed. "After losing your brother though, I couldn't do the same with you, even though I knew you would probably have a better life with someone more capable of parenting."
Spike took a deep breath. "I gave your brother up to some family in Wasaga Beach. I did a little research, and I realized that Sean was-is- your brother. Sean figured it out first though, but we both decided that it would be best if I told you instead of him."
Emma stood up, her face grew red. "My brother?! I've been dating my brother off and on since I was twelve?! That's six years of dating somebody who is my blood relative! Not only that, but I had sex with my brother?! What's my kid gonna call him?" she put her hand on her expanding stomach. "Daddy Sean or Uncle Sean?!"
