Baljeet had always admired her. She was brave, unlike him. She was daring, unlike him. She was an all-around amazing person with a heart of gold, and it was those traits and more that drew Baljeet Tjinder to Isabella Garcia-Shapiro.
Ever since he had arrived in the United States at age five, he had always noticed her, her hardworking demeanor, her kind smile, her willingness to go above and beyond for anyone in need. She was perfect in almost every aspect that he could see. However, some things that he had learned at age ten had broken the deal for him.
She was stubborn and fierce, and they had very little in common. She would rather go out and have adventures and be curious, while he was more than content to study for the upcoming math final in eleven months. She preferred speed and leadership while he would rather take it slow and follow the direction and wisdom of others, while only leading a few times himself. Even that much was mainly due to the influences of both her and her crush, Phineas Flynn.
That was another wedge that drove Baljeet and his crush-to-be further apart. The girl whom he admired was already smitten with another. Though the boy had tried to gain her affections through several means, he finally saw that she would rather stick to Phineas' side through thick and thin. Even if the red-haired boy was completely and painfully oblivious. Yet even that was not the real reason he had given up on her.
She had one unforgivable flaw in his eyes. Something that he simply could not live with. This horrible crime? Her disdain for math.
Oh, well. They could always be just friends.
14AmyChan: this is what I think Baljeet's thought processes would be during the series. Cause he still admires her, I just don't think he has that little crush on her anymore.
