A/N: I decided to re-watch the trailers, and the Red trailer sorta inspired me to write this one, mainly the settings, and whatever the title may suggest to you, this is not a WeissxRuby fanfic, to be honest i don't support that ship, but this is more what would happen if Ruby were to pay her respects to Summer Rose a little too long and if she were to get lost in the forest (AKA, hypothermia) and Blake just happens to be in the right place at the right time to save her, but still, here ya go, goes in the same boat as Painful memories, I was up late and i just wrote because I could
Chapter 1: Blizzard
Fluttering red fabric contrasted the cold snow-covered ground, but the biting cold meant nothing to the figure that the fabric was trailing from, Tears fell, melting the snow around the stone, the altar, Ruby didn't feel the cold anymore, she could'nt feel anything, her limbs were numb, face, hands, but she didn't care, all she cared about at the moment, was the stone in front of her, the icy cold stone that marked the burial site of Summer Rose, a blizzard was beginning to stir, ruby planted the single rose flower into the ground and hauled herself to her feet, and wandered into the forest, blinded by the blizzard, she hadn't put on her winter clothing, she was wearing the same thing she always wore, but it was usually never this bad.
She had wandered for near on 1 hour before collapsing into the snow, she couldn't walk any further, she sent a distress beacon on her scroll, before she pulled her cloak over herself in a vain attempt to sheild herself from the cold.

Blake's scroll beeped repeatedly, alerting her of a distress beacon, she looked and it was from Ruby, in the forest, Blake gathered her Blizzard gear, a deep purple orange arctic coat, with trousers, and a black scarf fading to purple at the end with a pair of blizzard goggles and ice boots, she grabbed her scroll and a flashlight and left the rest of the team asleep

It took blake nearly 25 minutes before she found ruby "Ruby!" she yelled as she sprinted over to her, scarf trailing behind her, she put a hand on Ruby's cheek, it was as cold as ice, Blake then put two fingers to Ruby's neck, se felt a faint rythimc pulsation, Ruby was alive, Blake checked her scroll, there was an abandoned forest rescue station closer than the Frozen Forest Outpost, she picked ruby up and moved her.

Blake kicked in the frozen shut door, it was slightly warmer inside and she laid Ruby down on a bed after removing her frozen cloak, it had frozen stiff, Blake loaded some firewood into a stove and lit it with a fire dust shot, the temperature rose instantly, Blake set up her distress beacon, she removed her arctic gear and draped the jacket over Ruby, Blake felt her pulse again, Ruby's pulse had become slightly fainter, almost to the point of being undetectable, or nonexistant, "Come on Ruby...please" blake murmured, about 2 hours later, Ruby began to stir, Blake put two fingers to her neck again, her pulse was clearly detectable, Blake sighed in releif and began measuring her heart rate, around 40 BPM, Blake pulled up Ruby's standard biometrics on her scroll from Ruby's enterance medical, her usual resting heart rate was 75BPM, Blake was worried for her, but couldn't do anything until the blizzard passed...
