A mid summer night's dream

In the obscurity of the night are two people walking side by side, their hands in their pockets, silently by the deserted streets.

Only the wind has its complain heard, long moans, cool puff sweeping the heat of the afternoon away, caressing their face, making the young woman's hair's fly.

As they pass under the sweet orange street lamp's light, their face light up with big smiles.

As we see them walking among the street, we could easily say they're happy, happy to be together, so happy that they laugh. Thing that the young lady does, letting her joy shows up in her gorgeous laugh, laugh which has for effect to broaden the smile of the man who is slowly walking by her side.

Suddenly, she shivers, she's only wearing a blue dress, going with her deep and sparkling eyes, and showing her soft and thin legs.

As the wind is going colder and colder, she's now having goose bumps.

She puts away a hair lock behind her ear, clearing her face still swept by flying hair in the nocturnal breeze.

Seeing her shivering, the man removes his jacket and puts it on her shoulders, rejecting her protests about how cold he is going to be and how sick he'll certainly be, and takes her as close as possible to him.

They pass again in the dark, leaving the ring the street lamp makes out on the sidewalk and soon appear in the next, him handing her by the waist, her, her cheeks turned into delicate pink, letting herself go, comfortable, his companion's arm encircling her waist.

And suddenly, they stop.

It sounds like the whole world was catching its breath.

The man turns in order to face his protégée. A pleasant plea is swimming in his eyes, and we can understand, watching his hand putting away another lock from her face, lingering to her skin, that he is begging her to remain silent, to let him enjoy the moment.

She is delicately shivering, not like she was afraid, rather like she didn't know how to respond to the gentle attentions which are brought to her.

She puts her hands slowly on his chest and he hugs her more closely between his arms.

Their breathing becoming jerky can be felt, and their heart beat in unison, like a call to join.

They smile and a glimmer passes in their eyes, an indescribable glimmer that even them can't interpret, or are afraid to.

She gently caresses his cheek, whispers some words to his ear and he takes her hand. They finally walk again keeping eye contact.

This man, so self-assured in his movements and yet so unsettled, he is my father, and this so radiant lady is Gillian, his business partner and best friend.

From the window, when I watch them coming from the office, I can say they are maybe just friend (bust I can't believe it, I don't want to) and maybe they're more than this- Lovers? I can say so, I just don't know.

All I can say is that all these moments spent together make them happier, do them good- this is the main thing.
