Hey! This is actually not mine; my little brother wrote it and wanted to see what you guys thought. I think it's pretty good, so review and no flames!! Anyhow, he might submit more, so if you like check out his user DragonlanceLOV4.

Poem

In the still of the night

In the middle of winter

There was a knight

That stood on a wall

He knew why he was there

He knew what he was doing

Even with the fear in his heart

And the Readiness to win

He stood on the wall in the still of the night

He waited and waited for the dragons to come

He stood on that wall with a sword in his hand

And finally they came in their horrible way

Flying from the horizon strait to his way

He waited and waited until they came close

Until one of the three came down to attack

The closer it came the more fearful he grew

But he knew in his heart it must be done

It stopped and hovered right in front of him

He was so scared he was trembling with fright

It came closer and closer and finally in range

He slashed with his sword the knight did on the wall

Strait at the dragon but did little harm

The blood came down all over him

He looked up at and saw it

Staring down at him

He hoped he had killed it

And that he had won

The creature had a rider who had a spear

That was sharpened to kill the knight right there

She threw the spear at the knight so hard

It pierced his body like nothing at all

So there the knight died there up on the wall

In the still of the night

In the middle of winter
