Inspired by the song "Someone Like You" by the lovely Adele. This story needs a lot of work, but this is what I have so far. Painfully Short? I know, but I'll add to it later. Review if you like it.

Blood drips down my bottom lip as my teeth shatter. My trembling tongue flicks out to quickly lick the crimson liquid away as I continue to scuffle my feet in the snow. Powdery mounds kick up and rain back down as I trudge my way towards their cabin.
Soft crunches of compacted ice echo into the dark night as I edge my way up the left wing of the building.
My breath fogs against the still air momentarily until it chills again and looses it's heat. I creep over to a narrow panel of tinted glass. I look into the window as soft crystalized flakes shimmer and twinkle about as they make their descend from the sky. I shudder as they pelt down on my cheeks, tangled onto my hair and cover the warm wool of my thick peacoat.
I tug my arms tightly together, enjoying the last of my body heat before it fades away again. I grimace missing how it used to feel to be warm all the time.
A single red tear slips from my eye, rolling down my cheek where the cold air nips at the leaking scarlet mixture, stopping it and freezing it to my numb skin.
My lifeless heart rips it's last shred as I watch him enter the room and place a hand on her baby bump and before kissing her tenderly.
I scowl watching her giggle as he showers her face with gentle pecks of affection.
I close my eyes and pretend that my blackened lungs are screaming for oxygen as I hold a breath, wishing with every fiber in my being that he really didn't choose her over me.
I've been 'dead' for three years, yet my frozen heart will always beat for him.
