There was a reason for that Ancient Law
=That stupid law that could've protected her from being hurt=
(If she had just listened to it.)

*For as long as she possibly could*
She had to p~r~o~t~e~c~t him from their world.
So, she married that slimy, h.e.a.r.t.l.e.s.s, disgusting pig
[Hopefully, the monsters would leave them alone now.]
She had to make so many s/a/c/r/i/f/i/c/e/s for Percy
(Just to keep from having to answer that one question:)
"Why do you put up with him?"
_Oh, Percy, she puts up with him for you._
Then that f~a~t~e~f~u~l day came
{It was t:i:m:e to let him go.}
Actually, it was a little too l/a/t/e
*Holy crap, the Minotaur was attacking them!*
They had to get out of there as f|a|s|t as possible
(To get to that camp Poseidon spoke of)
Percy would be safe there.
And that's all that

He could've made it to camp s*a*f*e*l*y,
but the Minotaur was squeezing the life out of her
[And Percy was just like his father; he would do nearly anything for Sally]
Then, she just... d`i`s`a`p`p`e`a`r`e`d.
She was gone?
She couldn't feel the pain anymore.
|Was she dead?|
She didn't even know.
But before Sally knew it, she was free.
(Sweet, sweet Percy had freed her.)
_And he found a solution to their problem_
They could finally get rid of Gabe.
They could finally be free.
After seven years with Gabe, they were finally free of him.
{Damn, it felt good.}
The pain d+e+c+r+e+a+s+e+d over the next couple of years
Good things happened to them
(She met Paul, Percy had Annabeth, Poseidon visited...)
...But there was still that prophecy...
[Her son was still condemned to die by a prophecy older than her]
She was scared for him
_She couldn't do anything really for him_
*Except give her blessing; that was it*
But she has c/o/n/f/i/d/e/n/c/e in him
(He was Percy. He was his father's son. He could do it.)
And in the end, he defeated Kronos

He s-a-v-e-d Olympus.
He was a HERO.
(The best of them all...)
All the pain, all the suffering, all the years with Gabe had been worth it
Because her pain
was their gain
