"He dumped me."

The words continued to ring in his ears. Why would anyone…how could anyone break up with Petunia? She was sweet and kind and funny and smart – not to mention gorgeous. Even now, as she sat sobbing, head in her hands, makeup running down her face. "Well, that just won't do." He decided. This, of course, earned him a very confused look. "Movies and chocolate all day?" he suggested before nodding with a smile and proclaiming "I think so! That's what's going to make you all better. I promise."

Sniffling and wiping her nose a bit, she smiled through the broken hearted tears "That's sweet. You don't have to do th -"

"Ah ah ah! I want to!"

And somehow, they ended up in her apartment, streaming Disney movies on Netflix, and eating more chocolate than Petunia was even aware that she had. She had to admit, it was nice to get her mind off of everything for a while. He always knew just how to cheer her up.

3 movies in, she left to go get her snuggie, telling Larry he could pick the next movie. When she returned, it was like the break up all over again. "Petunia?" Larry asked, immediately noticing the pained expression on her face. "Petunia, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice drenched in concern.

"Change the movie."

"Huh?"

Petunia inhaled sharply, it shaking her whole body "The prince's name, Larry…"

Suddenly, it clicked. "Petunia, I am so sorry. I don't what I was thinking, I wasn't even thinking!" he rambled, immediately pausing the movie to get up and hold the girl comfortingly.

Maybe it was the snuggie, or many it was the hug, but suddenly Petunia felt herself getting very warm. But it wasn't uncomfortable. In fact, it was the opposite. It was incredibly comforting. "You're all nice and warm…" she muttered as soon as she had calmed enough to get out actual words.

"Aw thanks." He cooed, moving one of his arms to stroke her hair lightly. "You just looked like you needed a hug. Now how about you pick the next movie, and we'll snuggle all warm on the couch, hmm?"

She nodded and followed. Allowing herself to once again be taken in by the warmth of his arms, she went for something funny instead. Romance was the farthest thing from her mind right now. Or at least, that's what she wanted. But all of her thoughts were travelling to her friend sitting with her, and how it felt so right being in his arms. And how good he smelled. And how she could probably spend every day for the rest of her life with him and she'd be happy. And how absolutely perfect he was, and how she knew from day one there was a spark, but she couldn't act on it…

…until now. For the first time since she was hired on, she was single. And so was he. And one day, one day when she isn't as vulnerable…she'll be able to tell him everything. Now all she had to do was wait. And in the mean time, he smelled nice, they had chocolate, and they both had all the time in the world.
