So I have had this story in my head since I was half way through the series. Because of how it ended, so things changed. But I'm keeping it the way it is.

Rose stayed with Adrian and Dimirti is still the way he was at the end of the book.

"What do you think of this?" My best friend Athela asked.

"It looks ok, but I think you should get it in pink," I said as I looked for a grey tank top.

"Katerina, you just want me to wear a girly color," Athela said, but she was right.

"When's the weather supposed to clear?" I asked. We then heard a siren and everyone was going crazy to get to the back of the store. "Come on Ath. We have to get to the back before the tornado hits," I yelled over all the noise. We dropped all the clothes we were going to buy and ran to the back. We were all crammed in there but we all were just waiting. I'm just hoping my parents are ok.

The all clear siren went off and everyone was happy. The store didn't take any damages, except for some broken windows. Me and Ath went to our cars and headed home.

When I was almost home, I couldn't get as close as a block and a half. I got out of the car after I parked it. I then started walking toward the house but there was nothing there, so I started running.

I ran up the one of the firemen and asked, "What happened? Where's my family?" I could feel the tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry to say that the tornado destroyed your home and your family." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "They were in the bathroom but the wall collapsed on them. We think the mirror broke before the walls fell on them but the mirror is what we think killed them."

He left and I couldn't believe anything. I fell to my knees and sobbed into my hands. I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and jumped in surprise. I looked up and saw a woman who had curly dark brown hair pulled back. She also has a black suit on with a white shirt underneath. She looked so familiar and I felt like I can really trust her. She held out a hand to help me up but I looked at it for a few seconds but I then took it. She helped me up and we started walking. When we got to the car, she asked for the keys. I gave them to her and she got into the driver's side and I got in the passengers.

We were driving for about an hour before I could say anything. "Wh … who are you and where are you taking me?"

"My name is Rose Hathaway, and I'm taking you to St. Vladimir Academy, Kiska." She said but I didn't get why she called me that.

"My name is not Kiska. It's Katerina."

"That's what your parents wanted you to be called since they didn't want you to know who you really are."

"I'm just a normal 15 year old. I'm part Russian but that's about it."

"That is true but you are not normal. You are a moroi, which is a type of vampire." I looked at her like she was crazy. "Your parents wanted you to be protected from the evil side of our world." I still looked at her like she was crazy. "Don't worry, you'll learn more when we get there."

I left it at that and just looked out the window. It was about another hour before we got to a small airport. We got on a jet and were on the way to the school. I feel asleep right after the jet took off.
