"You gonna do what?" Regina said, sounding more sad than angry.

"I'm sorry, but I have to, Regina." Emma said, trying not to look at Regina's eyes, filled with tears.

"But… you can't. It's wrong, Emma." Regina replied, not believing what Emma just said.

"Why? Why is it wrong? It's what's best for Henry! His life in New York was good, he had friends, and the only witches and monsters he had to confront were the ones on his game boy."

Regina had sat down on a chair next to her. She didn't say anything for a while. Emma could see she was about to cry. But she had to understand: it was best for Henry.

"What are you running from, Emma?" Regina finally said it.

"What? What do you mean?"

"It seems like you're running from something all the time. You never want to be where you are."

"I'm just trying to find a home for me and for Henry. A safe one. Not one with horrible villains to kill all the time."

"Home." Regina said, laughing. "You keep trying to find a home. But what you don't understand is that you already have one. This is your home. It may be dangerous and… sad, sometimes, but it is your home."

They stood in silence for a few minutes and Emma sat on a chair in front of Regina.

"I made my life mission to kill Snow White, because she had took from me the only person that could make me feel like I had a home. And what I didn't realize was that Snow could be my home too. And look what happened. I almost wasted my whole life. And Snow really is the only family I have left. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her."

"What are you trying to say?"

"I'm trying to say that it's time for you to stop what you're doing and take a look at everything you already have. You may realize that what you've been trying to find for so long is right in front of you. This people here are your family, Emma. They will make you feel like you have a home."

"I know that, but this isn't good for Henry, he's been through a lot of bad stuff here."

"And some good stuff." Regina's eyes were filled with tears again.

"I- I'm sorry…"

They stood in silence for another long minute.

"Does Henry knows about this?" Regina asked.

"No, not yet. I'm going to tell him tomorrow."

"And do you think he'll want to go?"

"That doesn't matter, I'm his mother."

"And so do I. You can't just take him away from me! And it's not just that. Do you think it'll be that easy? You think you two will just go back and be that happy little family again? He remembers us now, Emma. Not just me. His grandparents, his friends. He has a little uncle now! Everyone he knows is here. And you remember us too. The life you lived in New York was good? Yes. But it was not real. It was a lie. And you can't live in lies, Emma, doesn't matter how good they seem."
