Much More Than Mere Stage Fright

Rumor has it that,

During a full moon,

The ghost of the gruesome, ghastly girl comes back out.

In a lilting voice, she moans and croons.

The fear of the hunted husbands form dunes

And the widows forever regard her as a heinous goon.

With her husband, she had never been a brat.

He consoled her innermost fears about being a loon,

Causing her self esteem to clout.

But then a crazed lady struck at noon,

And snatched her husband who began to swoon.

And by next morn, across the room his dismembered body was strewn.

Without his help, she evaded her fears with a weak pat,

But soon enough, she became more than a crazed baboon.

Her skin began to dry and dust from an inner drought.

The colors of her sclera and iris swapped, showing her inner loon.

Spoonful by spoonful, her sanity escaped in June,

and her hunting healthy husbands often resembles an animated cartoon.

A/N: Not the best come back, but eh... Any way, in school, we've been reading poems by Edgar Allen Poe, and we were asked to write one loosely based on "The Raven." It was originally about a woman with super powers who goes crazy after losing her beloved, but then I thought about how it could fit Austin & Ally (rather, Season 1, when Ally still had stage fright.) I mean, I feel like then, she was more self conscious about letting the inner, crazy her out - which is understandable; any time she was her adorkable self, she just got weirded out looks - and Austin would help her out by helping her overpower her inner demons. The whole 'death of her beloved' is up to reader interpretation; there's no one way to describe that. And the whole June part kind of plays into part a line from I Think About You (they met in summer, so yeah.)

Any way, I was just curious to see if any one would read this... Hope you enjoyed, please review, favorite and all that jazz! In fact, if I get enough requests, I may just create a one-shot (not a poetic one-shot, by the way) about this story line for those who prefer stories to poems. Any prompts are welcome; I may or may not get back to prompts.
