"No Hope through the Smoke"
There was no hope through the smoke
Started by a man who was broke
And at the end of his rope
And who didn't know
That easy come, easy goes
Before the man becomes a ghost
He would like to propose a toast
To the good memories of his life
The good memories of his wife
Before he took the knife and cut his wife's life in two
The kids cry boo-hoo
And he cuts them in two too
"There is one more thing I must do
Before I come and join you
He opened his mouth and out the words spewed
"I do not like green eggs and ham"
Now how's that for an ending that's a shim-sham?
