Kai walked down the sidewalk on the way to the Christmas party
that was being held at Tyson's house. He sighed because he really hated
Christmas. He had his head down, lost in his own thoughts. He didn't
notice the person running his way shouting his name. He jumped when he
felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw Rei standing behind him
smiling.
"You know you should pay more attention to what is going on around you.
You could get hurt.", said Rei.
Kai snorted and said,"Whatever."
Rei smiled and asked,"Aren't you going to be any nicer on Christmas
than on any other day."
Kai scowled and said," I hate Chirstmas. There is no point in
the holiday."
"I'll just have to change that," then a little louder he said,"
Aren't you on your way to the party?"
"Yeah, even if I don't want to."Kai said, sighing.
Rei said,"Well. Come on I'll walk with you."
With that said, Rei grabbed Kai's arm and started dragging him
along the sidewalk. With Rei making them go faster they made it to the
party in no time. Rei dragged kai up the front steps and knocked on the
door. An excited Tyson answered the door as soon as Rei was able to put
his hand at his side.
Tyson grinned and said,"Come on in you two. We just started the
music." He stepped aside so they could get through. They could hear the
music blaring from somewhere in the house.
Tyson said," Follow me." He lead them to a room where the
music was even louder. They saw Max dancing to the music and Kenny was
sitting in a chair talking with Dizzi.Tyson walked over to Max and
started dancing with him. Rei smiled at them then went to sit down. Kai
decided that he didn't want anything to do with the party, so he
decided to just stand in a nice corner to watch the others.
Once he got to the corner he looked at his secret crush,Rei. He
blanked out and the next thing he knew Rei was standing right infront
of him. He blinked and asked," What do you want?"
Rei smiled and said,"You know you need to work on your social
skills. Anyway do you even notice where you are standing?"
Kai looked around and didn't see anything so he looked backed
at Rei confused. When Rei pointed up, Kai looked up and saw what he was
talking about, a mistletoe. He looked back at Rei and before he could
do anything Rei placed his lips against Kai's in a brief kiss.
Kai looked into Rei's eyes and saw all the love he felt for him
shining in them. He said," Well, I guess not everything about this
holiday is bad."
Rei kissed Kai again and said,"Merry Christmas, Kai."
Kai wrapped his arms around Rei as he did the same to Kai and
said,"Merry Christmas,my kitten."
