Prologue [REWRITE]
Tsunade nodded to the ninja standing before her desk, she scowled impatiently "You three will make a good team. Anyway," she took up a scroll from her desk and tossed it towards Sasuke. He caught it without a blink. "Normally, I'd only need one of you; any one of you would suffice…" She hummed.
"But..?" Naruto questioned impatiently.
"But," she stood and walked over to the large open windows, "These aren't normal – circumstances. You know the Akatsuki is after Naruto, so sending him alone would be trouble, and Sasuke, your brother is a part of them… Any thing could happen."
The third party rolled his eyes in mild irritation then snorted, "Why am I here?"
"Well Kiba you're the nose. If anything goes wrong, I trust your senses to no end."
He smirked suggestively, "So I'm the main part of the team?"
"Sure…" the Hokage turned to look at them. "It shouldn't take more than a week, three days to deliver it, three to get back, one day to rest."
"What's in it?" Naruto moved closer to Sasuke to look at the small scroll.
Sasuke shifted it to his other hand "Back off dobe."
"C'mon, just lemme see…" He whined playfully. An annoyed pouted appeared when Sasuke swatted his arm away.
"Naruto calm down already, your so annoying sometimes."
"The Uchiha brat is right for once, There's no need to get excited right now. Think of it as a warm up for the Jounin exams. They are next month after all. This just might be your last mission as a chunin. Can you think of anyone else you'd rather be with for this milestone?" Tsunade watched the blond's face transform into his blinding Naruto grin.
"You picked my team specifically for me to relax? Baa-chan your the best ever!" He hopped excitedly from foot to foot. "I cant wait!"
Kiba glanced fondly at his best friend, his heart speeding a little at the blond's enthusiasm. He found himself grinning too, his thoughts on how lucky he was to have a week long mission that promised only relaxation.
