We were all at my house by the kitchen table.
'Please, Amma. Just a little,' Link begged
'You keep your hands off my pecan pie mister,' Amma replied
Ridley raised an eyebrow at him, 'Besides didn't you already have lunch before you got here?'
Link smiled innocently, 'Yes but I'm still hungry,'
Ridley rolled her eyes at him, 'Get over it, Hot Rod,'
Link sighed, 'Well I'm bored,'
'I think we have a crossword in the back,' I suggested.
'That's not entertainment, that's torture,' Link complained
Amma and I both glared at him.
He put his hands up as a sign of surrender.
Lena smirked.
'You should know better than to-'
Suddenly a flash of blinding light filled the room.
'Arggghh,' Link screamed 'My eyes! My beautiful eyes!'
Ridley uncovered her eyes.
'Oh, stop being a baby,'
'What's that?' Lena asked pointing at something in the middle of the room.
I went to go pick it up.
