Legend of Aang and the ink machine
I OWN AND REGRET NOTHING!
...
Zhao watched as his forces tore through the north pole like a plague. "Yes...everything is going according to plan...looks like we won't need your freaks after all Joey..." He said smugly.
Joey Drew gave him a flat look. "We'll see..." He said evenly...
...later...
Aang is in a hurry! He runs from Koh's lair quickly, he needed to get back and save the spirits from-GAH! Shouted Aang as a strange black, inky vortex appeared below him and a dark hand dragged him under-
Aang gasped, he was in the mortal realm again...in a blizzard?
"Sheep, sheep, sheep. It's time for sleep. Rest your head, it's time for bed." Said a calm, reassuring, cheerful voice behind him-
Aang turned around...and screamed! Standing their was some sort of...thing...a creature of dark, inky, twisted proportions, topped with a creepily cheerful smile...standing over a clearly dead Zuko...the creature winked at him...and vanished...
Aang was frozen stiff in terror..but finally he shook it off and headed back to the city. He'd figure this out later- right now, his friends needed him!
...the next day...
It was a bittersweet victory...true, the moon was safe, the fire nation defeated...but Yue was gone...and Sokka was sad...
Aang was at a loss on how to make his friend fell better...
"Ah ah ah! The wonders of imagination!" Shouted an all too familiar voice. Aang shuddered, was it weird that the cheerful voice made him even more creepy?
Everyone turns and gasps at the sight of the monster.
"Welcome home dear friends, How long we've all been waitin'!" Shouts the creature!
"Wha...what are you?" Asked a horrified Aang.
"Shhhh!" Shushed the creature! "Now's not the time to talk...it be rude to interrupt the artist while he creates his masterpiece!" He shouts as he points to the bay.
Everyone looked at it confused. "Thank you ever so much for the BEAUTIFUL Canvas! It's more then enough for the machine to work it's magic!"
Suddenly...the ocean was filling with ink! "C-c-canvas?" Asked a now very frightened Aang confused.
The monster shrugged. "Personally, I'd prefer paper to the corpses thousands of vengeful enemy soldiers killed in battle...but hey! It takes all sorts to make this crazy world go round!"
Deep below the bay...the machine was pumping...the ink was spreading...the dead were rising...
Joey laughed. "Silly, predictable avatar...thanks for the army, fool!"
...…...
TO BE CONTINUED?
AN: I know it says "in-progress" but really I just don't like boxing myself into a corner. For now this is more of a one-shot that I might continue one day...but probably won't.
But, hey. Feel free to use whatever elements you want from this, if you want! Or maybe give me ideas?
