{So, I found Lucas the Spider and it is so cute! Even though I'm arachnophobic, lol. Anyway, I know Edward really isn't afraid of spiders, and I feel as if he would be the type that would want to keep one as a pet, but I thought this would be a cute story. It is kinda dumb, I guess, because Edward is a little out of character. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.}
EDWARD ELRIC MEETS LUCAS THE SPIDER!
If there is one thing Edward hates besides milk, it's spiders! No one knew this except his younger brother Alphonse, who had seen Edward scream and climb up a chair whenever he sees one. Even the tiniest ones, too! Sure, he always put on a brave face in front of other people, but he knew Edward would chose to drink milk over spiders, if given the choice.
One day Alphonse was surfing the web and he stumbled across a cute picture of a spider. The spider's name was Lucas. He looked up videos and his armored cheeks blushed. It was so cute! He had to show this to Ed!
"Hey, Brother, come see this!" he yelled. His brother was getting out of the shower from the sound of it.
"In a minute, Al," Ed called from behind the bathroom door. "I gotta take care of my auto-mail first."
Alphonse could feel a little squeal erupting from the armor. His soul was dying of cuteness!
A minute later, Edward walked out of the bathroom in his clothes and was rubbing his wet hair.
"What was it you wanted, Al?"
"Look at this!" Alphonse said as he turned the laptop around to face his brother. Edward froze.
"Al...You know how I feel about spiders," poor Ed was starting to turn white.
"I know, Ed. But this little guy is so cute, I think even you would like him. I bet it will even help you get over your fear of them."
"Nothing can make me get over...them. And you know it," Edward said as he rolled his eyes and sat on his bed and began braiding his hair.
"Come on, Ed, please? At least watch one, it's only 30 seconds long."
"Fine," Ed frowned and sat down next to his brother to watch the video. The cute, big eyed spider crawled up to the screen.
"Hi, my name is Lucas," he said in a child's voice. "I have too many eyeballs, and I look around with all of them!"
Alphonse glanced at his brother and noticed a small smile appear on his face. When the video ended, Edward reached over and clicked the next video. This continued until they watched all five episodes.
"That's it?!" Edward frowned when the last video was over. "There's gotta be more!"
"Doesn't look like it," Alphonse said as he tried to find more. Edward blushed.
"That was...actually...kind cute," he said. Then his entire face turned red and a squeal erupted from his throat. "Aww, that was so cute!"
"I told you you would like it!" Alphonse smiled.
"Let's watch it again!" Edward said excitedly. He chuckled as they watched the videos again.
"So does this make you not so scared of spiders anymore?" Alphonse asked him a few minutes later.
"To be honest, not in the least. But it is so cute, I'm dying!"
"Me too," Alphonse chuckled.
"Not a word about this to anyone, got it?" Edward said, although his face was still red. "I don't want anyone to know about this, especially Mustang."
"I cross my heart, Ed," Alhonse promised as he crossed his armored chest.
