I own nothing. I only own the plot and a laptop to type this.
Hello once again audience! I want to dedicate this to a great friend of mine, EchoingBreeze! Enjoy~!

The wind teases my hair and I sigh in relief.
It's a sunny day without a single cloud in the sky. Most of the Smashers are outside, enjoying the beautiful weather. The sun is shinging brightly, the winds are soft, and the-
"MARTHH~!" calls out a familiar voice, interrupting my relaxation.
I instantly sit up and groan in slight frustration. That is, until I realize who called out to me.
A certain mercenary with blue spiky hair and dark blue eyes runs up to me. "Hey, Marth!" he greets me, plopping down next to me.
"Hi Ike," I say. "What're you doing here?"
"You're out here all by yourself! I thought I'd keep my best friend company!" Ike exclaims, flashing a smile.
I feel some heat rise up to my cheeks. "Thanks, Ike," I say.
Okay, this is it. I'm gonna do it. Today's the day.
"Ike, I have to tell you something," I say.
"Yeah, Marth?"
I open my mouth but no sound comes out. I let out a breath instead.
Ike looks at me in confusion.
I open my mouth again.
"Ike, please report to the stage entrance for your brawl against Link," Master Hand's voice booms.
"Could you tell me after my brawl?" Ike asks.
"S-Sure!" I stutter.
"See you!" he says. He gets up and runs inside.
Once he's gone, I groan. Why can't I tell him?! It's just three simple words…
But, if it's so simple, why can't I say it?!
…
Ok, attempt number two.
"Hey, Ike! Good job in your brawl!" I say.
Ike steps out of the teleporter and smiles. "Thanks, Marth," he says.
My heart skips a beat. "Hey, can I tell you something now?" I ask.
"Sure," Ike says.
I take a deep breath and open my mouth to say it. Again, no sound comes out.
Ike stares at me with his beautiful dark blue eyes.
"…Aishite imasu!" I blurt out.
"…What?" Ike asks, tilting his head in confusion.
Aw… He looks cute when he does that.
I open my mouth again.
"Marth!" Pit shouts, rushing up to me.
I sigh. "Yeah, Pit?" I ask.
"Could you come help me with something?" he asks.
"Sure," I say, "Ike, I'll meet you in outside in a while."
Ike nods. "Alright," he says, smiling.
My heart skips another beat and heat rises to my cheeks.
Pit grabs my wrist and drags me away.
…
Third attempt.
I've lost all confidence now. Even if I do manage to tell him, he probably won't return the feelings…
I sigh and walk outside, into the night.
Ike is sitting under a tree. The wind is teasing his blue hair. The rays of moonlight is reflecting perfectly off of his eyes… Ah, he truly is beautiful!
I walk over to him. "Hey Ike," I say, sitting down next to him.
Ike smiles. "Hey, Marth," he says.
I blush.
"So, what did you want to tell me?" he asks.
I take a deep breath. "I…I love you," I whisper and look down.
…Silence fills my ears.
A strong arm wraps around my waist.
I jump and look up to see it's Ike. I blush a deep red.
"Don't be embarrassed," Ike whispers in my ear.
My eyes widen.
"Because I love you, too," he whispers.
My face turns a darker shade of red. "Y-You do?" I stutter hopefully.
Ike nods.
Tears well up in my eyes: tears of happiness.
Ike swiftly presses his lips against mine.
My eyes widen more and a wave of electricity runs through me. Before I know it, I'm kissing him back. I wrap my arms around his neck.
It's like fireworks had exploded around us.
After what felt like hours, we pull away from each other, panting and staring into each other's eyes.
His eyes… They're such a beautiful shade of blue.
"Thank you so much, Ike," I whisper.
"Anything for you, Marth," he whisper back.
We both smile. And right there, I know my world is now perfect.
