Yes. A year of announced hiatus (an a year and a half of an unannounced one) and that's the first thing that came to my mind.

...intro over and I'm still bored.
So... (dramatic pause) I'm announcing a contest.
The Misakumi one shot challenge.
Everyone out there, regardless of whether we know each other or not, if interested, leave an affirmation in the review section!
The rules are simple-
1. It has to be a one shot less than 5k words but more than 1k.
2. Misakumi pairing.
3. I will specify a particular genre and a specific word/phrase to be used in your fic through the review reply method to your review of affirmation. The second genre can be whichever you prefer.
4. Rating can be anything from K to M
5. Write up your fic and keep it ready to be published on the new year day i.e the first of January. Until then, anyone and everyone is welcome to join. Of course, I'm joining as well )
6. The one shot with the most favourites (and only the favorites) on 27th April 00:00 GMT i.e our alien's birthday, will be declared the winner. Of course, I don't have anything more to offer. Oh, and four runner ups would also be chosen and will be mentioned with the winner as the next chapter to this fic, as well as on my page until Usui's next birthday.
7. Beta reading is allowed, given that the beta reader's name is also specified in the fic. You can also ask me or any other competitor to beta read your fic. No hard feelings.
8. Also please mention "Misakumi one shot challenge" in the summary of the fic.
