Mei smiled at the gentle caress of Eduard tying the clasps together, and the way the cool metal rested on her skin.
She couldn't help her joy as her fiance spent this time with her; she adored him and always tried to let him know that.
They'd met when she took to traveling as much of Europe as she could one day as a sign of new challenges and experiences; she was nineteen and just wanted to see the world before she chose to settle down or bunkered down for a long four years at University.
She'd instead met the love of her life, and they'd managed to find time to meet up within the next four years despite living in completely different countries; he's older than her and had already graduated an university by the time that they met.
Mei found herself balancing a new job, going to college, and somehow balancing meeting up with her long distant boyfriend. She'd since graduated from university and on one of Eduard's trips to Taiwan to be with her, he proposed.
He promised her that he was going to move to Taiwan and had even rented an apartment now; Mei was very family oriented despite her desires to see the world and wanted to stay close to her family while Eduard didn't really have much of a family life.
She smiled as she relaxed into his warm embrace and simply just enjoyed this moment together, still unsure of where the next four years will lead them both, but excited for that time to pass has it had proved to be the best decision of her life to travel Europe and meet her future husband simply by accident in Estonia. Mei had faith that these next four years will be just as beautiful to reflect on after they've passed.
