Title: Snape's Last Thoughts...

Notes: this has a character that i have made up for my Harry Potter fic that i'm writing. the character is Alice Potter and she's the twin of Harry, who has been raised by Snape. please do not criraze and say that the charatcer does not exist in the books, thanks.
Summary: Before Snape's life is officaly snuffed out due to Voldemort, he quickly reflects on the important and happy things in his life.

Snape laid there clutching onto the hands of Alice Potter and Harry Potter. The blood continued to pool from the snakebite of his neck. But as he lay there scared and dying, he suddenly didn't regret his reforming. he wasn't too happy how things came to be and he was very upset with the fact that he would no longer be there for Alice..or Harry.

He closed his eyes and remembered the day he met Lily Evans. They had such a strong friendship. and then she was taken away from him and he was put in charge of protecting her children. He had raised Alice from a baby and loved her as if she was really his daughter. He had watched over Harry, even if he wasn't so nice towards him. He had did his best.

Snape struggled to open his eyes once last time to see his beautiful daughter. He had watched her grow from a baby to a beautiful adult that resembled her mother so much. The day that Snape had brought her home, was the happiest and the sadest day of his life. The happiest because he had gained a daughter and sad because Lily was gone.

And he regretted that was leaving her now. He wouldn't be there to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day and he wouldn't be there to see her raise her own family.

with his last bit of strength Snape pulled Alice down and kissed her forehead softly. And with a strangled breathe he managed to get out. "I'm...sorry that....I won't....be there...anymore..."

With that he let death take him from this world. He would see her again one day, but now he was going to rejoin her mother and his best friend again.
