Summary: Don had a strong urge to hit his head repeatedly against the steering wheel.

"Brilliant, Eppes," Don muttered to himself with a groan. He had a strong urge to hit his head repeatedly against the steering wheel.

This was embarrassing; he was never going to live it down. An MVA that was his own fault, his reaction time not fast enough to hit the brakes when the small truck in front had stopped moving again. He wasn't quite sure whether the crunch had come after he'd looked forward or while he was still looking to the side to confirm he could merge. Whenever it had happened, it wasn't a nice crunch.

Don sighed, turned on his emergency lights and opened his car door, seeing the driver of the small truck do the same. There was almost a whimper when he saw the damage; his sedan had gone under the tray from the truck, hitting the tow-bar block and stoving the bumper of the sedan into the engine at the point of impact. The truck seemed to have no damage.

He was only driving the sedan as his Suburban was in the shop for minor repairs.

"You know you're at fault, right?" the other driver said.

Oh, yeah, he knew he was at fault.
