"Harry I'm bloody freezing!" Ron shouted as they walked through the snow of Diagon Alley.

"Me too Ron! But you promised you would help me find the perfect engagment ring for Ginny!" Harry said begining to become annoyed with his best friend.

"The perfect ring. The perfect ring. That's all you have been talking about for the last two weeks. For merlin's sake it's Christmas eve. Find the damn ring already." Ron began to walk briskly, but he stopped when he saw Harry looking in the window of a new jewlery shop, called Diamonds are a Witche's Best Friend.

Harry walked into the store leaving Ron behind, but he quickly followed into the store. A small witch dressed in sparkly white robes, approached them.

"Hello there gentlemen. Can I help you with anything? We are just about to close." She asked in her soft voice.

"No. I know what I want." Harry said, staring deeply at a diamond ring that was changing colors, in order to look like many stones.

The witch smiled at Harry, as she walked over to the ring and picked it up.

"Could it be this?" The witch said with a twinkle in her eye/

Harry nodded. He knew that this would be the perfect ring for Ginny. Ron glanced at the beautiful jewel that the witch was holding. His eyes buldged.

"How much does that bloody thing cost?" Ron blurted out.

"However much the buyer thinks it is worth." The witch said carefully placing the ring into Harry's hands.

Harry studied the ring. He imagined how it would look on Ginny's dainty ring finger. He imagined the look on her face when he got down on one knee and put the ring on her finger.

"This is the ring." Harry finally said.

"Thank Merlin!" Ron said.

Harry ignored him and reached in his pocket, pulling out a rather large some of money. Putting the money on the table he nodded at the witch.

"Harry that's far to much for a ring."

"Shut up Ron!"

"I don't think there's that much money in all of Gringott's."

"That's enough Ron."

"She said you could choose the price... give her a knut. It would be a fantastic..."

"For Merlin's sake Ron it's Christmas eve." Harry said throughing Ron's own quote in his face.

"You think you're clever. Very clever. Let's go mate, we're going to be late. I don't want to miss dinner." Ron said with a smile as they apparated back to the burrow with a loud crack.

As they arrived in the kitchen of the burrow, they were greeted by Mrs. Weasley.

"Why so late boys?"

"I had to find the perfect ring."
