Matt looked up at the starts, twinkeling at him in the dark sky, as he lit another cigarett and inhaled the deadly smoke. The bench felt slightly cold against his back as he laid down.

For a few seconds his sight was clouded with smoke before it dissapeared in the night. He had lost track of time quite awhile ago.

It was staring to get cold, but he didn't feel like going back. But it wasn't like they missed him anyway. Matt closed his eyes for awile. It was almost totally quiet.
"Young boys like you shouldn't be out this late, hm?"
He snapped his eyes opened and came face to face with a pale blond. The closeness made him fall down on the snowcovered ground.
A soft laugh was heard. When did he get here?

A pale hand was reached out to him, Matt grabbed it.
"So, what are you doing out this late?"

He shrugged.
"It's kinda cold, isn't it? Why don't you go home?"
"Don't feel like going home."
"Problems with family?"

"My family's dead, I live in a orpanhage," he paused, "I don't even know why I'm telling you this, what do you want?"
"Oh, nothing special. Just wondering." A smile.
Matt lit another cigarett and closed his eyes again.

"You know that's not good for you."
"So?" He sat down on the bench.
The blond sat down beside him.
"I'm Mello, what's your name?"
"Matt."
"Nice to meet you Matt." Another smile.

Mello couldn't help but to smile as he looked over at the readhead. There was some kind of unique charm over him.

"Why are you staring at me?"

"Hm?"

"Stop staring." Matt turned towards him and glared.
Mello just smirked.
"Why are you wearing those.. goggles?"

"I like them."
"I can't see your eyes."
"Why would you want to see my eyes?"
"I think they would be pretty."
Matt let out a dry laugh.
"Then let me see them, so I can tell if they're pretty or not." Mello reached to take them off.
"No." Matt swatted his hand away.
"Why not?"
"I don't even know you."
"Maybe not."
They went silent, and Matt litted another cigarett.
"Why do you smoke so much?"
"Keeps my mind of things."
"I see."

They went silent again. Suddeny Mello reached forward and removed the goggles in a unnatural speed. Matt didn't have time to react.

"Now, let me see your eyes."

"No." Matt closed them quickly.
Mello grabbed his face and turned it against his.
"Please."
With a small sigh Matt turned his face away again and kept his eyes closed. Mello stod up and grabbed his face again, forcing him to "look" up at him.

He actually looks kinda cute. Carefully he stroked the pale cheek and felt a smile form on his lips.

Matt didn't dare to move. He just waited for Mello to let him go. Matt didn't notice him getting closer until he felt a light chocolaty breath aganst his lips. And when the soft lips pressed against his, he couldn't help but to open his eyes wide.

The soft lips soon left his and he could see Mello smile down at him.

"Your eyes are beautiful."
