Chapter One: The Last Phoenix
I awoke to the sound of a explosion and i rush out of my hut to find a crater engulfed in flames. "Well here I was thinking you were never gonna hatch!" I say aloud as a young Phoenix shoots out of the crater and lets out a loud scream. "What can i say, i like to keep you waiting." joke the bird through a mental link as the creature landed gracefully in front of me and it's flames died down. "Well now being that i have you we can finally go see Amber and you can meet her dragon!" i exclaim to my bird of fire as he nods in approval. "A dragon, i always wanted to meet a dragon are they as powerful as the legends say?" asks the bird. "Well i guess we will find out, let me grab the saddle Hunter made for you and also grab my swords and bow and arrow and we can go." i say as i run into my hut and fetch my gear and saddle and rush out. "You sure you are ready to fly Ryan?" asks the phoenix as i finish mounting the saddle and double checking my fireproof armor and i look at him and give him my look of approval and i hop into the saddle. "So i still need to name you, how about Bandit." i say as the bird looks at me. "Bandit, i guess, alright let's fly!" Says the bird as it unfolds his wings and fire erupts from them and we take off at insane speed towards Amber's village.
Chapter Two: Embers
After about two hours of flying i start smelling smoke and i notice black smoke rising from the village. "Oh no!" I Think to myself as i hear a loud roar from the ground. "That was a dragon Ryan, it's in trouble!" Alerts Bandit as he looks at me with one eye. "Bandit let's introduce ourselves shall we?" I insist as we go into a full nose dive into the clouds.
Ambers POV:
Fire surrounded me as my dragon Ruby fell over with multiple spears and arrows sticking out of her. "RUBY!" I scream as i see the group of dragon hunters walking up. "So another one dead sorry about that miss, just doin' our job" say the ring leader as he unsheathes his flameberg sword and prepares to finish Ruby. Then out of nowhere a deafening screech erupts and the sky turns red and a lone cloud seems to burst into flames and then i notice a object falling from the sky and it lands between the dragon hunters and me and Ruby with a big cloud of dust surrounding the object, "What the hell was that?" exclaims one of the hunters. As i stare at the dust cloud a lone orange eye appears and then as the dust starts settling the eye turns into a bird then the creature catches fire with a Deafening scream. "HOLY HELL WHAT IS THAT THING?" Yells a hunter. "It's a Phoenix!" i say as i realize why a phoenix is here. "Well hello everyone, i would like to suggest you leave this village before i have to burn the crap out of you!" announces a familiar voice that i would know anywhere.
