Prologue
I stared threatened by the huge building that stood before me. Many students brushed passed me to eagerly meet with friends, to chat about their summers… but not me. I stood there at the doors like an idiot. 'A few more steps' my mind told, 'Just a few more steps and this nightmare can begin.' I thought back. I heard a whispered chuckle behind me.
I turned only to find a couple, standing behind me leaning against the stairs. The girl- who had giggled- had a model figure. Her long brown hair hung loosely around her waist. Her eye's where gray and she smiled up at the brunette who was looking down at her. She smiled widely, and he couldn't help but touch her cheek. I turned away, embarrassed and blushing.
I decided to face my fears, and just this day over with. I took in a big breath and made my move. One step… goodbye old me, Two step… hello new world…Three step… I'm so clueless….
