The History of Valoran

Every summoner's dream, is for League of Legends to be a real thing. (Don't get eaten by Cho Gath) Jokes aside, what I mean is that everyone has probably been wondering on what is the Institute of War exactly? What are the things going on inside of it? What do Summoners do? I will be giving descriptions to everything going on in the Institute of War, like the ranks of Summoners.

Prologue

In the year 3000 A.D., the Apocalypse came. There were tectonic shifts everywhere around the globe that led to natural disasters. Continents were broken and formed . After the end of the Apocalypse, the map of the world was completely new. There was only one major continent left, with part of the North Pole and Russia at the top, and part of Australia at the bottom. The then-called Earth had a complete degree shift, resulting in only the North to be cold. Different islands around the major continent were inhibited and named as well. However, the most major issue was the name for the new continent. The leaders of the world who had survived had decided to name the continent 'Valoran', and since the Earth was a whole new planet as well, it was named 'Runeterra'.

After a year or so, scientists had discovered that the Apocalypse also released radioactive waves to the planet, resulting in some mutation in animals. Also, there were reports that some human beings were found to have special psi-abilities, and they were placed in lock-down until there were further examinations.

As the world started to slowly evolve again, there were also growing physical and political instability. As a direct response to this, the leaders of the world who had survived the Apocalypse had decided to form an organization to resolve conflicts in a controllable and systemic ways. The organization was then called the League of Legends, whose purpose was to oversee the orderly resolution of conflicts in Valoran in a peaceful and timely matter. The organization was housed in the Institute of War, an institute in the middle of Valoran. The mutated animals who were found to be able to talk as well (well some couldn't), as well as fighters were brought in as champions for the League of Legends. The psi-humans were all tested to see if their psi-abilities were able to communicate with the champions. Well some were able to, some weren't. Those who were able to mind-communicate (Let's not use mind-control, shall we?) to the champions were accepted and admitted to the League of Legends. Very soon, more champions and summoners flocked around Valoran to the Institute of War to claim a place to be known to the world.

I only own the story, no copyright infringement intended. Basically this whole story (and the upcoming chapters) will be about the Institute of War, how do summoners live in the Institute, what are the stuff going on behind matches (Including cafeterias, uses for Influence and Reputation Points, what are the rooms like). Basically I will be talking about what a LoL gamer's dreams would be like if League of Legends was real, and describing in full details what the Institute of War has.

This will not be like the other stories about champions, or summoners and champions in matches. I am talking about stuff that goes on outside of the matches, lessons (Maybe?). I will contain famous teams in these chapters as well, such as like having a level in the Institute dedicated to the professional teams.

All feedback and comments are welcomed, and I will look at useful comments. Do include below what are your dreams for the Institute of War, maybe like how the passage way should be decorated (I was thinking of the story to be from the Modern. Like I had said above, 3000 A.D.
