I don't own anything

Spoiler for the Son of Neptune.

Gwen's POV

I screamed in pain as the pilum entered my body. My vision went fuzzy and I felt very dizzy. I was vaguely aware of nectar dripping down my chin. I looked down and saw a ton of blood coming out of the wound. Then my vision went black.

The next thing I new I was standing by a river. I looked up and saw a man.

"Do you have any money to pay for this passage?" He asked. I was beyond confused. It hit me then. I was dead and this was the underworld. I looked into Charon's eyes and resisted the urge to scream. His eyes were empty black sockets that reminded me of every bad thing that had happened to me. Suddenly there was a bright light.

" No I suppose you don't." Charon said as if he didn't see the light. Looking at it more closely I realized it was a doorway. I wondered if I should go through it. Maybe it would lead my to Pluto's palace or the judgment pavilion. It certainly was a risk, but not much could happen to me any more; I was dead. I stepped trough the door, and then passed out again

I opened my eyes and gasped. I was a Camp Jupiter. "W-what is it?" I stammered, and blinked. "What's everyone staring at?" I said confused. I heard someone whisper, "There's no way. She was dead. She has to be dead."

I tried to sit up but I couldn't. " There was a river, and a man asking…for a coin? I turned around and the exit door was open. So I just…I just left. I don't understand. What's happened?" Everyone looked at me with horror.

"Gwen. Don't try to get up. Just close your eyes for a second, okay? Frank said softly but I could her the unsteadiness in his voice.

"Why? What-" I tried protesting.

"Just trust me." Frank said.

I mentally sighed and did as I was told.

It was only then I noticed the seven-foot harpoon in my chest. Frank tried to pull it out but his hands were shaking and the harpoon was slick with my blood. "Percy, Hazel- help me." He called out. Hazel and a boy around 16 appeared. He had black hair and sea-green eyes. He was the boy everyone was calling graecus.

"Don't!" I heard someone say. "You might-"

"What?" Hazel snapped. "Make it worse?"

Frank took a deep breath and said, "Hold her steady. One, two, there!"

I felt a huge wait be removed from my chest. I looked down and saw blood disappearing.

Hazel examined my wound "It's closing on it's own," she said "I don't know how-but"

"I feel fine," I exclaimed cutting her off," What's everyone worried about?"

With Frank and Percy's help, I managed to stand up. I noticed Frank glare at Octavian but Octavian face only showed polite concern.

"Gwen," Hazel said slowly and gently, "there's no easy was to say this. You were dead. Somehow you came back."

"I … what? I stammered. My hand found it's way to a hole in my armor. "How-how?"

But I knew the answer. The door I went through was a door of death. I droned out everything else concentrating on my thoughts, but listened to what Mars had to say about Thanatos being chained up. But I knew one thing the doors of death were open and there was no telling who could be set free from the underworld.
