Professor Oak's Bedroom
The rising sun slowly rose up over the sunset, bathing Pallet Town in a golden glow. A Dodrio sleeping on a rooftop was awoken, and cawed loudly into the air. Professor Samuel Oak woke up. He yawned, and stretched his arms. Picking up his glasses from the bedside table, he climbed out of bed.
Professor Oak, or more commonly known, the Pokemon Professor, was one of the four leading experts on Pokemon in the world. His laboratory was a short distant from his house, in which he studied all manners of Pokemon. His closest family were his daughter, Julie Oak, and his young ambitious Zack Oak. Suddenly, a flash of remembrance came to him; it was Zack's tenth birthday today, the day when he would obtain his first Pokemon! Oak left the house after a short breakfast and farewell to Julie, he began walking out of Arbok Avenue and towards his lab. As he walked, he considered his three Pokemon starters: Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Unfortunately, considering the Pokemon made him trip suddenly over the small pothole in the road. Falling, his glasses instantly broke, showering the ground with shattered glass. Cursing, Oak reached into his coat pocket for his spare pair, but instead felt a small circular object.
The object was metal, beeping constantly, a small red light flashing vicously. Professor Oak frowned, and tossed it to the ground, where it broke in half. As he walked curiously along, a large aerial shadow flew over him, and suddenly, a large brown bird lunged at him. He backed off, and confronts the roaring Fearow. Reaching in his other pocket, he obtained his Pokeball, and released a large Kangaskhan. As the Fearow shrieked in annoyance, a mysterious face watched from the background….
