Just a oneshot about Uriah and Tris. Semi-fluff.
Uriah stood up and walked to the lunch room. After a lot of training, he really just wanted to cool off around his friends. He walked over to the table he sat at with Marlene and Lynn, but he saw Marco, one of the people he had hated since the first day of school, when he had to share his black crayons and the kid just snapped them all. No way was Uriah sitting with Marco. That, and the fact that Marco was four on their board right now, just under Marlene.
He looked around and saw some of the transfers. Uriah shrugged, and grabbed some food, before heading over to the table. The Stiff, the first jumper, was sitting there, with three other transfers. A boy who had blonde hair, a tall boy with huge muscles and black hair, and a girl with dark skin. Uriah walked over and sat down. They all stared at him, except for Tris. She had met him when he invited her to the building after the incident.
"Hey Uriah." Tris said, glancing at him with her blue eyes.
"Trissy." He replied, grinning.
"Don't call me that, Uri." She sighed, shoving a piece of fried chicken into her mouth.
"No thanks, I do what I like." Uriah said, biting into a fry. "Going to introduce me?" He asked.
"Christina," She pointed at the girl. "Will," The blonde. "And Al." She pointed at the huge kid.
"I'm Xavier, she just forgets my name a lot." Uriah said, smiling.
"You're lying." Christina said, smirking. "Your left side of your mouth is higher than the right."
"So?" Uriah asked, raising an eyebrow. "What does that mean?" He asked, his voice suddenly interested. Uriah silently cursed himself for showing... it. But he hid it quick. "Hm?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and making a goofy face.
"Nothing." Christina sighed.
"Okay." Uriah, dug into his cake.
"That's a lot of cake." Al said, his voice quiet.
"Mmm." Uriah nodded.
"Looks good." Tris took a fork and ate a mouthful. "Yum."
"My cake!" Uriah said.
"Deal with it." Tris said.
"I want it back!" Uriah whined.
"Oh well!" Tris opened her mouth to show the cake was already in it.
"Dauntless!" Uriah shouted, before kissing her.
Tris didn't seem to mind to much. She stiffened at first, before relaxing, albeit just a little. Uriah pulled away.
"I got my cake back." Uriah smiled at her.
"Shut up!" Tris punched his shoulder, smiling.
They hadn't noticed the others leave, going to the tattoo parlor. They had an hour before more training. And they spent it goofing off, Uriah introducing Tris to violent animes, and Tris telling him stories of how much she wanted to be Dauntless when she was younger.
Review. I know it was just a short drabble but- whatevs.
