They simply gazed at each other all day
Hand in hand, they both grinned from ear to ear
Lost in each other, they both had no fear
Until they were forced to go their own way
Away from each other, nothing to say
Both lovers yearned to see their precious dear
They both held their own, neither shed a tear
One day, reunited, happy and gay
A life together with many a child
Made with each other as the days go by
With each other, oh, how the years did fly
One year after another they all piled
Reaching one hundred years into the sky
Until they lay down for eternity.
