He stalked into the room, a look of desperation on his face as clear as day. She looked up from her book to see him standing behind her with tears in his eyes. "Jack? What's wrong?"
"I can't do it, Rose. I honestly can't take this anymore!" Rose stood up from her comfortable spot in the armchair by the fire, a look of sincere concern on her face as she surveyed her servant, her friend.
"Jack you're scaring me." She said, her voice quivering.
He closed the short distance between them in a manner of seconds, took her face in his hands and said, "Rose Dewitt Bukater, I love you. With every piece of my heart, I love you." Taken aback by his sudden confession, she had no words; she didn't need them. He pulled her face to his and gently kissed her lips, testing the waters. She melted, pulled him closer to her, now being unable to deny what she had felt was true for years. She loved him, no matter how wrong or against the rules it was, her heart beat for him, and always had.
She kissed him deeper, harder, not ever wanting to let him go. He pulled away briefly to look into her big blue eyes. Her tears were unstoppable. She loved this man. I didn't take long before his lips crashed back into hers and they were once again lost in a spinning world of disbelief that the other felt the same. His kiss sent tingles all the way down to her toes, and she wrapped her right hand around his neck and pulled him harder to her. Jack's hand found her waist and gripped her against his body with so much passion she could no longer resist the urge aching deep inside her.
Rose pulled away from the kiss and tilted her neck to the side, allowing him to kiss and nibble gently on it, sending flames throughout her body. He pulled away from her neck and started kissing her again, this time reaching down, pulling her dress up enough so that he could lift her legs to wrap around his waist, all the while keeping his lips locked on hers.
He slowly carried her to the couch and laid her down pulling her right leg up high on his hips with his left hand. He felt her gasp lightly as he pushed his bulge into her heat, all the while kissing her lips passionately. How had he gone so long without telling her? They'd known each other since they were kids, and all those years came down to these moments. The ones taking their breath away.
There were sure to be consequences, but all that mattered in that moment was them. They would face everything else tomorrow. Jack loved Rose, and Rose loved Jack. They were the only two people in the world at that indescribably beautiful moment.
