Maximum Chronicles
Chapter One: The Beginning
Max's POV
"Ahh..." I stretched out my wings as I flew rapidly in the air, My name is Maximum,
Maximum Ride, Max for short. We were mutant bird-kids, created by WhiteCoats at what we call,
The School. We were what I called the "Flock",
which consisted of me, Nudge The Motor-Mouth, Dark Fang, Gazzy The Gasman, Iggy The Blind Hearer, and Angel The Mind Reader.
Our main enemies where called Erasers, mutant Wolf-Men.
Geez, And I call NUDGE a Motor-Mouth!
We where headed to our re-built hidden home, which the Erasers had destroyed.
I did a 360 to make sure the flock had stayed together.
I slowed down so I could talk to Iggy.
Iggy's POV
Max had come by my side.
" 'Sup Max?" I greeted.
" Iggy, about your sight." I groaned I had told her I didn't want to talk about it.
"I have a cure." I Hit a tree.
Whaaaat?
"Really?" I doubted this.
"Well, there IS a couple of side effects." I sighed, I knew there was a catch.
"What are they?" My voice unsure.
"You'll be paralyzed for 3 days." She answered her voice stiff.
"And," She added, "if we get an attack from the Erasers-" Her voice trailed off.
"Wait a minute! I thought we took them all out when we saved the world!"
(A/N: I'm only half-way through the second book... XD Im making this up as I go.)
"Yea, But I swore I saw 4 Erasers Hands still moving when we used Huge Blast, 2 Hands where Ari's."
She whispered.
"Well!" I announced to her. "I'll Take the Blind-icene! AFTER I get drunk!"
Max Sighed.
