The becoming of a goddess
One day, I was sitting in my room, when my I heard my step mom scream, and in front of her I saw a Cerberus. I was so scared. My dad drove me to the nearest orphanage. He told me that I'd be safe there. I didn't know what was going on, but all I knew was tha I was being abandoned, or so I thought. It was the most terrifying day of my life. Later on after thinking about what had happened, I realized tha he was protecting me.
One week later, I met a younger girl, she appeared about two years younger than me. The first person that she walked up to was me, Shadow, the loner of the orphanage. She said "hi, my names Shimmer. What's yours?" I replied "my names Shadow. How'd you get here?"
"My mom drove me here after my step dad was attacked by a Cyclopes. What about you?"
"My dad drove me here after my step mom was attacked by a Cerberus."
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry."
"Me too, for you that is."
After we'd talked for a while, we went to the head mistress to ask if we could share a room because we'd had similar traumatic ways of getting there. She told us that we could. She also said that in the future, if we found someone who got here with a similar experience that we could just have her stay in our room with us. We were super excited.
