Happy New Year's, everyone! My New Year's resolution...I haven't figured that out yet, but I will soon...
Ummmmm...Yeah, that is pretty much it. Disclaimer: I do not own Will, Halt, Horace, or any of the other RA characters. I also do not own any sparklers..
"Halt, where are the sparklers?" Will called over his shoulder from the back porch of the cabin. It was New Year's Eve, and Will was making sure that they had all of the fireworks that they needed.
A silence came from the cabin. Finally, Halt called, "I didn't get sparklers."
"What?" Will said, "We can't have I fireworks show without sparklers!"
"Why do we need sparklers, Will?" Halt asked, as he walked out to the porch.
"Sparklers are an important New Year's tradition. We have to have them!" Will said as he looked at Halt.
Halt sighed exaggeratedly. "We do not need them. I bought the necessary items. No more." He turned away from his apprentice.
Will couldn't help mumbling to himself, "How can a person not get sparklers? What kind of person doesn't think that sparklers are a necessity?"
Halt paused. "What was that, Will?"
Will fumbled for the words. "Uh...Did you at least get the..uh..Roman Candles?"
Halt turned back toward Will and raised an eyebrow at him. "You never asked me to get Roman Candles."
"I didn't?" Will shrugged nonchalantly."You probably would have forgotten them anyway."
Halt kept the same expression as he said, "Remember that it was you who made me go and get fireworks in the first place."
"I wouldn't have if I had known that you would forget so many things."
"All that I forgot was sparklers!
They argued like this for a few more minutes before Horace appeared, having heard them while he was walking toward the cabin. "Why are you two arguing?" He said confusedly.
Will stood up and gestured toward Halt. "He forgot to get sparklers."
Horace gaped at Halt. "How could you forget sparklers? They are one of the most important New Year's traditions!"
Halt raised an eyebrow again,this time directed at Horace. "You"re in on this, too?"
"In on what?" Horace said, hiding the laugh that he could feel forming in his throat.
Halt narrowed his eyes. "Don't answer a question with anather question." He stalked away.
And Yes, I do know that they probably would not call them Roman Candles. REVIEW!
