In his bedroom, Kaz was setting at his desk staring at his laptop that displayed a black screen waiting for words to be written on it. For the first time this school year his teacher told him he could go ahead and write something about Chaotic.

The reason why he was allowed to write something about Chaotic was because this written assignment was supposes to be about favorite hobbies and playing Chaotic was his favorite hobby. Though he couldn't write about how Perim was a real place, he could write about why he loved to play Chaotic so much. But for some reason he couldn't think of a single sentence to write!

This should have been easy. It wasn't even suppose to be that long, only two paragraphs with a word count between two hundred to five hundred words.

He spent all his free time playing Chaotic and yet he couldn't think of how to explain why he loved Chaotic so much. He couldn't write about going to Chaotic, because then that would kill any other future chances of getting to write about the card game, so how could he put how he felt on paper?

He began to rub his head and pull at his hair in frustration.

"Come on, Kaz you can think of something to write about Chaotic." he told himself.

Someone knocked on his door, then opened it before Kaz could reply.

"Kaz, honey. Dinners ready." Mrs. Kalinkas said as she walking into the room.

"Okay, Mom." Kaz said. His mother left.

Turning back to the blank screen, Kaz thought maybe some food would help him think better, so he shut his laptop and went to the kitchen table where his mother was already setting down.

"Something wrong, Kaz? You don't look like your normal self." Mrs. Kalinkas asked.

"Well, it's just I don't know what to write in this paper for school." he said, taking his set.

"Oh, what's this paper about?"

"It's about favorite hobbies, which mine is, of course, playing Chaotic. I have to explain why I like it so much, but I can't think of how to explain it."

"That sounds easy enough. Didn't you get into Chaotic, because you liked hanging out with Tom?" she said, trying to remember why it was that her son liked the odd fantasy game so much.

It was like a switch was turned on in Kaz's brain. He was a bit anger for forgetting about that fact.

"Oh, yeah that's right! Me and Tom met at the game store where they sold the cards. I was just starting to get into Chaotic, but I wouldn't have loved it so much without Tom playing the game with me all the time." he said thinking back to when he and Tom first became friends.

"Well there you go. Just write about having fun with your friends." she said. "Now eat your dinner before it gets cold."

After dinner, Kaz quickly went back to his room.

He opened his laptop and began to write down how he and Tom meet through playing Chaotic. Tom wasn't just his best friend, he was also Kaz's first real friend, so Chaotic was the glue that stuck them together. Hard to believe, they have been friends so long over six years and counting. If only Tom could get a Chaotic code like he did. Chaotic and Perim would become much more fun with his best buddy with him.
