Hello all! Kaji here, with just a few things you need to know about this story.
1. I haven't looked at any Naruto related content in months, so some of the characters and places might be different from the original
2. This is my first fanfic. Leave a review for any suggestions or corrections to the story if I missed some.
3. This isn't going to be something I prioritize over other things, so it might take a while to update.

Flashback
Naruto POV
Naruto burst out of the village, panting as he sprinted away from the ANBU chasing after him. He had enough of Konoha. Retired ninjas placed elemental traps in his apartment, and it had been covered in explosive seals, making it a challenge in itself to even get in. It was beginning to be impossible for him to stay without being attacked by a civilian and starting a mob of attackers. The ANBU were catching up, and Naruto felt his muscles throbbing with pain, but he kept running. He sidestepped just as a kunai shot past his previous location."GIVE ME CONTROL!" A loud voice suddenly rang in his head. Startled by it, Naruto tripped and feel headfirst to the ground with a loud THUD. He heard the footsteps of the ANBU as they ran to immobilize him and escort him back to the village before he blacked out.
Flashback End
Naruto groaned as he opened his eyes and sat up. Every part of his body hurt, but his surroundings were not anything he recognized. He was in a dark sewer looking room, and it was empty except for a giant cage looking thing ahead of him.
"Oh, So my jailer finally visits me," the same voice he had heard earlier rang from the cage.
"Oi! Who are you and what do you want?" Naruto screamed at the cage, angry that the thing called him a jailer. Suddenly, a long string of chuckling came from the cage.
"My, you are such a stupid child. Has the village never told you about the Kyuubi no Kitsune, the mighty nine tailed fox?" The voice asked, in a smug tone. Naruto squinted at the cage, trying to figure out what was inside, and saw a silhouette of a giant fox with nine tails.
"I guess you are the 'mighty' nine tailed fox," Naruto grumbled under his breath to the Kyuubi.
"Look kit, you are being dragged back to that miserable village by some ANBU, and it is only a matter of time until they arrive at the village, where you will probably be jailed for "attacking the ANBU" or something. The people will believe it, because they hate you and will do anything to wipe you out of their life. I can get you out of this situation and train you into a smarter, stronger ninja than you could ever be under their training! The villagers will think twice before trying to attack you, if you come with me and decide not to return to this hell!" the Kyuubi told him. "Now hurry and give me control before we are close enough to the village for backup to arrive!" Naruto didn't think twice. The villagers not attacking him on sight or discriminating him? That's all he ever wanted, aside from becoming hokage!
"Ok Kyuubi, I'll give you control, just don't do anything too violent to them, ok?" Naruto asked. The Kyuubi gave him a wide smile as Naruto fell unconscious into the water on the floor of the room.

Third Person POV
"Tiger, is the kyuubi secured with you?"(A/N: I just made up code names, these people are minor characters.) Asked an ANBU member running along side him.
"Yes sir, I secured him with rope," The ANBU named Tiger replied.
"Good. We should be arriving at the village soon, but keep your guard up," The head told the rest of his team.
"Yes sir!" They all replied.
"Have you considered the "attack" coming from the one you were supposed to retrieve?" A voice boomed, coming from Naruto. The ANBU stopped suddenly, and Naruto was thrown to the ground.
"Listen up brat, your stupid tricks wound work on us, one the the ANBU growled as they held a kunai to Naruto's neck. Naruto's eyes were closed, but he had a sinister smile on his face.
"Like a weak fool like you could do anything to me," The voice of the kyuubi rang out of his mouth. The rope suddenly snapped and two translucent tails came out of Naruto's body as he jumped into the air. Before the ANBU could even form a hand seal they were on the ground and unconscious. Only the leader remained awake, laying on the ground against a tree.
"Y-you bastard...What t-the hell are y-you?" He murmured as he fell unconscious. The tails shrunk back into Naruto's body as he fell to his knees and regained he analogy to control himself.

"W-what *pant* did you *pant* do.. to them? Naruto asked out loud.
"Not much, I just knocked them out cold." The Kyuubi replied.
"Um, there is blood everywhere, are you sure about that?"
"Ehhh.. Maybe 30% sure. It won't matter because we'll be long gone before the bodies are found, if you leave here right now!"
Naruto thought for a second, and then told the Kyuubi,
"Ok, I have decided to leave. But, ah, where exactly do I go?" Naruto asked and then scratched his head.
"Good choice, Kit. I'll give you directions, and you just follow, alright?" The kyuubi replied inside his head.
"Ok, well then let's get going," Naruto said as he ran off.

And that's chapter one folks! I intended to make this chapter a bit longer than this, but that last line seemed like a good stopping point for this. I might update this chapter later on, probably to make the ANBU fight a bit longer.
Note: The next chapter will be one year after the events of this one!
