Those deep green eyes would haunt me.
The raspy deep voice that made my very core vibrate forever imprinted in me.
The orange brown fur that tickled my skin, making me long for its touché once more.
The movement of the animal would stay on the hin of my eye.
The smell of youkai that made my inner being shiver in fear and my inner beast beg for it to take over both body and mind.

Never would I forget that big youkai fox, standing before me as a god, licking its mouth and the slow purring of my name.

"Kagome, I'm glad you came."

Then the moment was lost, when I once again found myself stand alone in the big forest.
Slowly moving, only because of the longing to the fox, I began to wander the unknown forest, but in its place I found a boy with dog ears, sealed to an ancient tree with an arrow, surrounded by branches of some unknown forest plant.

That was the beginning, the beginning of something I never would come to understand.
